About Cozy Sweetery

Cozy Sweetery is a home-based cottage food operation located in Sarasota, Florida, operating in compliance with the Florida Cottage Food Law (Florida Statute 500.80). By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Cottage Food Disclosure

As required by Florida law: Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations.

Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that may also process common allergens including wheat, eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, and coconut. We are food safety certified and follow best practices for food handling and preparation.

Orders and Pricing

All prices are listed in US dollars. Prices may change without notice, but any changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

For standard shop items, your order is confirmed once payment is processed through Stripe. For custom orders, your order is confirmed once we have agreed on design details and received either full payment or a 50% deposit.

Custom Orders

Custom orders require a minimum 2-week lead time. Larger events or full sweet table packages may require 3-4 weeks. We'll work with you on design details and you'll approve the final design before we begin production.

A 50% deposit may be required for custom orders. The remaining balance is due before delivery or pickup. Deposits are non-refundable once production has begun.

Allergen Notice

All of our products are made in a kitchen that handles wheat, eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and coconut. While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is free of any allergen. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss your needs.

Delivery and Pickup

We offer local pickup in Sarasota, FL (free), local delivery in the Sarasota area ($15 fee), and standard shipping within Florida ($8.99). Delivery times and availability are subject to our calendar.

You are responsible for being available to receive your order at the agreed-upon time. Perishable items left unattended are at your own risk.

Intellectual Property

All photos, designs, logos, and content on this website are the property of Cozy Sweetery. Custom designs created for your order are for your personal use and may be featured in our portfolio or social media unless you request otherwise.

Limitation of Liability

Cozy Sweetery provides products on an as-is basis. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for any allergic reactions if allergen information was disclosed.
