Ordering

Advance notice is required, and availability fills quickly, especially during peak seasons. We recommend placing orders at least 2–3 weeks in advance. Rush orders may be accepted based on availability and may include an additional fee.

If you would like to order a design you have seen on our website or social media with minimal adjustments (such as changing a name, number, or colors), please reference the product and attach a screenshot if possible. These orders follow the original design layout while allowing simple personalization.

For new ideas or larger design changes, please submit a Custom Order Form with your event details, preferred date, and inspiration photos. You may share your own concept or upload images to guide the style, colors, and theme. Once reviewed, we will confirm availability and send a personalized quote.

An order is considered officially placed only after the required deposit has been received. Quotes alone do not reserve your date.

We accept major credit and debit cards. Zelle or Venmo may be accepted upon request; please notify us in advance and provide the transaction reference number. Cash at pickup is also accepted. All payment methods should be confirmed before placing your order to avoid misunderstandings.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to pickup or delivery.

Yes. Shipping orders must be paid in full at the time the order is placed. Pickup and delivery orders require at least a 50% deposit to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due before pickup or delivery. Orders are only confirmed once the required payment or deposit is received.

Products & Allergens

We offer custom sugar cookies, cakes, cake pops, cakesicles, meringues, chocolate-covered pretzel rods, rice crispy treats, chocolate-dipped Oreos, and chocolate-dipped cookies. All items are made to order, and we aim to create a cohesive dessert display by coordinating designs within one unified style and color scheme based on your event vision.

Our products are made on equipment that also produces products containing wheat, peanuts, milk, eggs, and coconut. Meringues are made with just egg whites, sugar, salt, and vanilla — naturally dairy-free and gluten-free. Please inform us of any allergies when placing your order.

Our kitchen handles common allergens, but not limited to nuts, gluten, eggs, and dairy. While we take care in preparation, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Select items may be available upon request; however, because our kitchen processes gluten, we do not recommend our products for those with severe gluten allergies.

Design

Design sketches or layout references may be shared once your order is booked. Inspiration photos are used as a guide, and each design is uniquely created rather than copied exactly. Progress images may be shared at various stages at our discretion.

Inspiration images help guide the overall style and color palette. Final designs reflect a similar aesthetic while remaining one of a kind.

The level of involvement is entirely up to you. You may specify every color and detail, or simply share your main theme and preferred palette and allow us to guide the creative direction while maintaining a cohesive, coordinated look across your treats.

Colors will always vary slightly due to lighting (natural or artificial), screen settings, materials, and base finishes. We follow your selected color direction and do our best to match the overall tone and aesthetic as closely as possible.

Fulfillment

Yes! We offer local pickup and delivery in the Sarasota area. For delivery, a minimum order of $150 applies with a delivery fee.(subject of availability) We also ship select items (mostly sugar cookies at the moment)

Packaging

For local pickup and delivery, items are packaged together in a bakery box and sold and labeled as a set by default. Individual wrapping is not included unless requested. You can add individual baggies, bows, or both for an additional packaging fee per dozen.

Shipping orders come individually wrapped by default and are carefully packed inside a shipping box for protection during transit. The shipping box is labeled, while the individual items inside are wrapped to maintain freshness and safe delivery.

Date & Calendar

Orders can be placed at any time, but they must be scheduled based on our availability calendar. Because all desserts are made to order and require preparation time, not every date may be available.

Yes. Some dates may be fully booked or unavailable due to order volume. Checking the availability calendar before ordering helps ensure your preferred date is still open.

Next-day pickup is not always possible since most items require advance preparation, baking, cooling, and decorating time. Availability depends on the order type and our current schedule.

Most products are made to order. Occasionally, we may have extra treats available, but they are not guaranteed. Following our social media or checking the website is the best way to see if any ready-to-buy items are available.

Pickup and shipping dates depend on our availability. Because all desserts at Cozy Sweetery are made to order and require preparation time, not every date may be available. We recommend checking the availability calendar before placing your order and booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays, and larger orders.

Rules and regulations

All products are made in a Florida cottage food home kitchen and are not inspected by the state. Cottage food law allows certain shelf-stable baked goods to be made and sold directly to consumers.
