Meet the baker
My baking journey began in childhood and grew into a 15-year passion. With a BFA in Graphic Arts, I blend artistic design with handcrafted baking to create one-of-a-kind custom desserts for every celebration. From my small home kitchen, each cookie, cake, and confection is made from scratch with a homemade taste and a designer’s eye for detail. Every order is thoughtfully crafted to reflect a cohesive, unique vision — because your event deserves more than sweets. It deserves something truly original.
Step 1
Every order begins with clear communication and thoughtful planning. You may choose an existing design with light color or name adjustments, or complete our custom order form for a unique, from-scratch concept. We review inspiration pictures, quantities, colors, structure, and event timing to ensure mutual understanding before moving forward.Step 2
Once the design is finalized, ingredients and materials are prepared and, when needed, specially ordered. Fresh ingredients are purchased. Packaging is organized. Colors are tested. Bright or deep frostings are often made 24–48 hours in advance to fully develop rich tones. Because preparation begins at this stage, significant design changes become difficult once sourcing and production have started.
Step 3
Preparation takes time and cannot be rushed. Cakes are baked in layers and must cool for 4–5 hours before they can be filled and frosted. Buttercreams and icings often need several hours of resting time to stabilize and reach proper consistency. For larger orders, cookie dough may be prepared and chilled 12–24 hours in advance. Fondant flowers and figures may require 1–3 days to firm properly before placement to prevent shifting or damage. This careful preparation creates the stability and quality needed before any decorating begins — because beautiful results depend on a strong foundation.Step 4
Decorating, finally the fun part, happens in stages and requires patience. Cookies are outlined, flooded, and detailed in layers, needing 12-24 hours just to dry depending on design and humidity. Cakes are filled, crumb-coated, chilled to set, then frosted and finished in phases.
Step 5
Each piece is inspected and carefully packaged, often individually bagged or boxed for protection. Orders are coordinated for pickup, delivery, or shipping based on event timing. Our goal is to make the process smooth and stress-free while delivering a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind result worth the time and care invested.
